Wonder Lights knows how to plan a Saturday outdoors. No need to overthink it — just board with us for a day built around a stunning hike and a relaxing afternoon at a thermal spa.
We'll meet at 8:15 AM at Újpest Városkapu, in front of the Lidl supermarket, and travel there together — the journey is as much a part of the experience as the destination itself. Once in Visegrád, we'll ease into the day with a coffee and some time to get to know the people you'll be hiking alongside.
From there, we set off toward the Devil's Mill Waterfall, taking in some genuinely beautiful panoramic views along the way, before continuing along a stretch of the historic Spartacus Trail. It's about 11 km of medium difficulty — nothing technical, just good honest walking, so a reasonable level of stamina is recommended to fully enjoy the day.
And then, the reward: we descend to Lepence Spa to let those legs recover. It's a 3,000 m² thermal complex fed by a natural mineral spring rising from over 1,300 meters underground — seven pools, a full sauna park, steam baths, and a cold plunge for the brave. The perfect way to close out the hike.
The practical details:
Guide and organized hike — 2,500 HUF. The spa is optional, but we'd genuinely recommend it — 11,000 HUF on site.
Once you've signed up, you'll receive an email with everything you need to bring, along with an invitation to an optional Zoom call the evening before for any questions.
See you on the trail.
